About the CPAA Dance Company

The CPAA Dance Company is a competitive and performing group of young dancers. They perform throughout the United States, while attending local dance competitions and receiving many awards. The CPAA Dance Company is not only a group of dancers, but a family. We spend so much time together at the studio and at competitions throughout the United States, so we form a special bond and become extremely close. It takes a great deal of dedication and hard work, but the reward pays off!



To become a member of the CPAA Dance Company, you must take Prep Classes during the summer and audition towards the beginning of the school year. Instead of a conventional audition where the dancers are judged immediately after learning combinations, we will have a week-long intensive where the dancers train to learn ALL styles of dance. This includes ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, and hip hop. The week-long audition will alleviate the pressure of having to perform perfectly in a single audition.



At the end of the summer, we will hold a week-long intensive that will serve as the audition for the 2021-2022 CPAA Dance Company. This MANDATORY intensive will be held during the weeks of August 3rd, August 10th and August 17th (Ages 9 & uner will audition on August 15th).  Click HERE for more information on Auditions.
