Shanell (age 12) recently relocated from West Hartford, CT to Mooresville, NC.  Shanell began dancing when she was 3 years old.  She was a part of a local community dance class where she learned ballet.  In 2010, at the age of 6, Shanell auditioned and was selected as a member of the Children's Performing Ensemble at the Artist Collective in Hartford, CT. Shanell continued to dance at the Artist Collective until her relocation in 2016, at which point she auditioned and was invited to be a member of the CPAA Dance Company.

Shanell is a 7th grader at Lakeshore Middle School. She loves to dance with her sisters and cousins and when she is not dancing she enjoys acting, Face Timing her friends in Connecticut and going to church.
