Daria

Daria is excited to be a fourth year veteran of CPAA. Now 16 years of age, Daria began dancing at the age of 7.  She joined a dance company at the age of 9 and was off to a running start, winning individual regional titles at conventions such as West Coast Dance Explosion and Jump Dance Convention.  Daria recently won a national title when she was awarded the 2014 Encore Grand Finals Teen Soloist of the Year.   Another highlight of her past season is the scholarship she earned to train at Broadway Dance Center in New York. 

 

Daria is an honors student enrolled in an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.  She has an interest in literary arts and science. She aspires to join a professional dance company with an emphasis on the traditional and exploratory forms of dance.  Daria would also like to obtain a degree in veterinary medicine.  When she isn’t dancing, you can often find her curled up with a good book.
